NIGHT QUALIFICATION

Trains the student to become a safety aware and responsible night rating pilot in command that in a structured and systematic way handles flight during normal as well as emergency situations. The pilot should be able to manouvers an aircraft at night with a broad safety margin.

The theory training consists of 5 hours at Kungsair Training in Norrköping. The practical training consists of 5 hours in aircraft at Kungsair Training in Norrköping.

Training duration: 2 weeks

Prerequisites:

hold a Light Aircraft Private License (LAPL) or Private Pilot License (PPL)for aeroplanes.

Before completing the training at night, LAPL holders shall have completed the basic instrument flight training required for the issue of the PPL.
