CLASS RATING INSTRUCTOR MULTI ENGINE

CRI (ME)

Class Rating Instructor training gives the pilot the necessary flying- and teaching skills to safely and efficiently function as a class rating instructor on multi engine piston aeroplanes.

​

The course consists of 25 hours Teaching and learning (T&L), and an additional 10 hours of theory training covering lesson preparations and technical training.

​

The practical training consists of 5 hours in the aircraft.

Prerequisites:

hold valid Private Pilot License (PPL)
hold valid Medical class 2
valid Multi Engine Piston (MEP) class rating
have at least 500 hours of flight time on aeroplanes
have at least 30 hours as Pilot In Command (PIC) on single engine piston aeroplanes
